About Us

BELA Electronic Designs was formed in 1984. Since then the growth has been steady and the company has developed strong recognition in design and manufacturing. In September 2003 BELA completed their move to a new purpose built factory in Kempston on the outskirts of Bedford.

The new facility has doubled our original floor space allowing us to develop new business with existing customers and offer a wider range of facilities with increased manufacturing capacity to new clients unaware of our new capabilities and technical expertise.

Investment

We have continued our investment by purchasing a Europlacer iineo1 (integrated intelligence) to further expand our capability, providing a more flexible assembly solution for prototypes, fast turnaround, medium and high volume requirements.

Our investment enables us to fulfil areas of contract manufacturing and allows us to compete in the European Community and the world-wide marketplace. We have been accredited to ISO EN 9001 approval since 1993 and have a policy of continuous improvement within the workplace.

Our Guarantee To You

All manufactured products are guaranteed for a period of 12 months from date of delivery.
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with any of our products and services, please give us the opportunity to rectify them. If we then fall short of your expectations, and we are unable to repair or replace, we promise to refund your purchase price in full.

We operate the new Europlacer iineo1 which offers an extended feeder capacity of 240 and a placement speed of 13,000 components per hour.
