BELA operate the new Europlacer iineo1 which offers an extended feeder capacity of 240 and a placement speed of 13,000 components per hour. This enables us to offer a competitive solution for all medium to high volume assembly requirements. The iineo is ideal for prototypes, NPI and small batch builds.
How Does It Work?
The synergy between the machines enables a seamless transfer of programmes and feeder set-ups. Programming of both our machines can be achieved manually or more efficiently by using your centroid data (x-y co-ordinates) which is a standard output of most design packages.
Surface mount printing is achieved using our two Speed Print 200 with vision automatic screen printers ensuring accurate pasting and a repeatable process. Reflow is achieved with our Iemme 12 zone controlled oven, which has intelligent temperature profiling of both upper and lower heating panels; a bed width of 457mm means that the oven can reflow large PCBs or panels.
With a process heat tunnel of 2.5 metres the zones are split into 6 upper and 6 lower zones plus a cooling zone at the end of the tunnel ensuring no thermal shock to board or components. Intrusive reflow can also be offered on boards with a small number of conventional components where previously a second process cycle would have been required.
A unique thermal profile is generated for each different job run which is recorded in the documentation produced for each job. This profile can then be recalled as each job is run to ensure continuity of processing and repeatable results.
