Accessibility

Bela wants everyone who visits our websites to feel welcome and that the experience has been extremely positive. We’ve been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone. This website surpasses the requirements of the level A criteria of the WCAG 2.0 guide-lines.

Browsers

This site has been built using compliant code with W3C standards for HTML and CSS. This website should display correctly in the current and previous two versions of most web browsers. Our website has also been built to adapt to the screens of the latest mobile devices such as iPhone, iPad, and Android phones.

Text size

You can change the text size by using your browser’s text resize option: in most web browsers this can be accessed by selecting “View” -> “Text Size” or by pressing Ctrl + and Ctrl – on your keyboard.

Alternative text for images

All images have been given alternative text so that reading devices can ‘understand’ them.

Colour contrast

We have checked text and background colour combinations to ensure that the contrast is adequate and that information is not referenced by colour alone.

Exceptions

Whilst Bela strives to adhere to the accepted guidelines and standards for accessibility and usability, sometimes it is not possible in all areas of the website.
We are continually seeking solutions that bring all areas to the same level of overall accessibility.

If you experience any difficulty in accessing this website, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
